We believe that our business  should be socially responsible and so we are ensuring that we develop sustainable business practices and giving back to those that need it the most

Sustainable photography

We have been working to lighten the impact of our business on the environment. These are some of the practical steps we are taking as part of an ongoing journey to more sustainable practice.

  • Use of 100% renewable energy.
  • On location shoots making maximum use of natural light.
  • Online client gallery with proofing, ordering, printing and download option.
  • Albums are handmade in New Zealand by Queensberry, and their environmental ethos is described here.
  • USB flash drives are harvested from European Maple in sustainably managed forests. These are FSC and carbon neutral certified, as well as under the RoHS Directive to reduce toxic e-waste.
  • Use of rechargeable batteries.
  • Cotton muslin bags used in packaging are fully produced in the United States; cotton is sourced and milled in Georgia and Arizona, woven in Arizona.
  • Prints and albums are shipped to us in recyclable packaging. Efforts are made to reuse, recycle and combine orders to reduce shipping.

Giving back

As part of our commitment to ‘Giving Back’, Kelly Anthony Photography donate $15 from each portrait session to support the work of TEAR Australia. They work with local organisations and poor communities helps to improve mother and child health, boost educational access, provide clean water and much more.

We love their passion to make the world a better place. To find out more about their great work, visit the TEAR Australia website.
